
I’m not sure exactly when I came into ownership of my Nanna’s cool automatic toaster, but it definitely helped inspire my continuing fascination with toaster pastries. I’m happy with the way the “icing” is a little bit lumpy and only slightly glossy, and I attribute any success with my version to the ongoing “research” I’ve been doing as I toast up and consume real samples.
