Potato chips were a real treat in our house when I was young. We didn’t eat them as snacks, but sometimes on hot summer nights we would have plain chips instead of cooked potatoes with a barbecued burger or chicken. These days in my house, Friday nights are burger nights, and because nobody is the boss of me anymore, we ALWAYS have chips with our burgers.
