My husband’s favourite pizza is Hawaiian, and it’s a good thing I love him unconditionally, because I think fruit on a pizza is for crazy people. Although he has managed to find it in Spain, Iceland, and The Netherlands, this type of “pizza” is definitely purely North American, and as far as I’m concerned, not really pizza at all! My husband has very patiently followed me through a number of European countries, but he refuses to go to Italy with me. He claims it’s because there will be too many *%^#$ churches and museums, but I think it’s really because there WON’T be any Hawaiian pizza.
