Save Your Fork, There’s Pie!  (sold)

all desserts homemade

Somewhere in Hay Bay on Lake Ontario, there used to be a nice little spot where sailors could moor and visit a local eatery. The food was definitely home cooking and it was served simply. When you were done your first course, the middle-aged server would snatch away your plate, but not before she said “save your fork, there’s pie!” And if you didn’t grab your fork off the plate, you wouldn’t be able to eat your pie.

2015, kiln-fired and cold worked glass, found plate and (saved) fork

(Pudding cups sold separately.)
